What documents are needed?
To initiate the application process for our rent-to-own services, please furnish digital copies of the following documents:
1. Valid driver’s license.
2. Passport.
3. Proof of address
Include the front page of a bank statement or a government-issued photo identification bearing your current address.
Additionally, if you are not a citizen of Australia, kindly provide your visa grant document for verification purposes.

What do I have to pay upfront?
"Our plans are made to suit you, and we want to make things easy. That's why our deposit starts at just $2000. Plus, the deposit you pay upfront goes towards the total cost of your car."
Do you check credit history?
We certainly don’t check credit history and our plans are available for everyone.
How long does it take to get a car?
Most of our cars are ready for you on the same day you apply. However, if a vehicle happens to be out of stock, there might be a waiting period.
Can I pay off the car before the end of the term?
Yes. At our core, we prioritize your convenience and flexibility. Waiting for years to own your car is not our style. If you're able to pay off your car sooner, you're welcome to do so at any point during your contract. Additionally, making extra repayments won't cost you a penny more. This feature empowers you to accelerate the car ownership journey without incurring any additional charges.
Is there any option for returning the car?
We are committed to helping our customers achieve their goal of owning their dream car. However, we recognize that unforeseen circumstances can arise, prompting the need to return the vehicle earlier than anticipated. Therefore, we do provide this option after you've fulfilled the minimum 26-week period. A two weeks' notice is required, and a break-out fee may apply.
Is there any weekly limit on kilometers?
There is no weekly limit on mileage. However, a surcharge of $0.10 per kilometre will apply if the vehicle exceeds 1,000 kilometres. This surcharge is only applicable if the vehicle is returned.
Can I go out of state?
Yes, you may travel out of state for holidays, provided you notify the company in advance via message. However, permanently relocating outside of NSW will void your contract and may result in penalties.
Is there any minimum period of contract?
The minimum contract period is 26 weeks from the commencement date. Termination is permitted only after the initial 26 weeks, with a required notice period of 2 weeks.
Is there a buyout option?
Yes, a buyout option is available at any stage of the contract. Furthermore, customers may make extra repayments at no additional cost for their convenience.

Is there any minimum period of rental?
Yes, the minimum rental period is 4 weeks. For returning the car there is two weeks’ notice required.
Is there a bond involved?
Yes, there is a fixed bond for each car which is $500. Bond is refundable when the car is returned.
What is the minimum age requirement?
The minimum age requirement to rent a car is 22 years old.
Are there any license restrictions?
For rentals, only Australian Full License and International license is accepted.
Provisional License is not acceptable at shad rentals.
Do I need any Australian driving experience?
Yes. Minimum of 1-year Australian driving experience is required to rent the car from Shad Rentals.
Am I covered for Insurance & Maintenance?
Yes, maintenance and insurance are covered with the rent you pay weekly. Moreover, we provide NRMA roadside assistance for our rental customers.
What is the accidental procedure?
Our renters are covered by Insurance. Renter needs to notify within 24 Hours of accident to the company. Further details are mentioned in the rental contract in detail.
Is there any excess fee I must pay?
Yes, there is an excess fee needed to be paid in case of accident and it varies according to driver’s profile affected by factors such as license and age.
